Brazil Peaberry *** NEW ***
What’s this coffee like?
A 'peaberry' is produced when only half of the coffee 'cherry' develops, causing a small, rounder bean. Strength and character is concentrated in this single ovule giving, weight for weight, greater and more distinctive flavour. This bean is sharp and winey with a fruity finish.
All our coffees are 100% arabica beans, and are freshly ground for your order.

How should I brew it?
This bean lends itself particularly to cafetière & filter preparation. However, any bean can be brewed in any way if ground correctly, so have fun experimenting!
How do I keep it fresh?
Ideally, store ground coffee in the freezer, but put any opened bags in an airtight plastic box, not loose in the freezer. The ground coffee remains as granules and does not need to be defrosted before you use it. It’s easy just to scoop out what you need and replace the rest in the freezer to maintain maximum freshness (up to 12 months, though we don’t think it will last that long!). Beans may be frozen too, but it’s recommended to defrost these before putting them in a domestic grinder.
If freezing is not an option, any coffee should be stored in an airtight container and kept somewhere cool, dark and dry.
